The Creative Consult
At your creative consult, the stylist and I take about an hour to collaboratively plan your big day.
How do you want to be photographed?
What is the reason you wanted the shoot? What will be our story for the images? Who will be in the shoot? Is our end game digital images and/or wall art or an album?
We will brainstorm location selection and review posing and lighting that you might like in other images you have seen.
Like every good lawyer/photographer would do, I research in preparation for our creative consult and present a Vision board on Pinterest to you. I send you a link to collaboration the board. By the time of shoot day, I have this image library saved to my phone and I refer to it throughout your shoot.
The Pinterest vision board also gives the stylist and hair and makeup artist an idea of the mood and overall goals for the shoot.
If you are a business, I will have reviewed your competitors' social media and website imagery. We will devise a plan to make your business stand out

The Styling Consultation
You will work with my professional stylist Emily Renne of Styled by Emily Lauren to plan your outfits and colors for the shoot. She will work with the hair and makeup artist to make sure we are all on the same page. We will discuss accessories and props.
You will be free to utilize my 30-dress wardrobe for your shoot.
Emily can work from clothes you already own or she can help you pick out pieces online or she can go shopping with you in person. Ask for her services guide. The basic consult is included in your creative fee.

The Photoshoot
The big day is here! You will arrive 1 to 1.5 hours prior to shoot time for your hair and makeup. There is a hair and make up station at the studio. The cost of the hair and makeup artist is part of the creative fee. You can add people for $150/person.
We will shoot for 30 min up to 1-2 hours depending upon the package you are booking. You can extend the shoot for additional time if there are multiple people to be photographed.
Depending on the duration of the shoot, SRMK will provides snacks and drinks. We want you happy and fed.
There are always unlimited outfit changes. We love when you change it up so long as we keep within the time allotted for my staff to be there.
SRMK will change backdrop and lighting setups throughout the shoot.

The Reveal and Ordering Appointment
For a mini session, you will pick your images on the spot with an assistant.
For custom sessions, SRMK will prepare at least 60 images per person to reveal within 7-10 days of the shoot. We like to get you back to the studio for the reveal within that time frame. She can send you a link to the proofs right after the shoot.
At the reveal and ordering appointment, SRMK will help you cull the images to determine which ones to purchase and which ones should become wall art. Salene's Photoshop and Lightroom software are interactive. It helps to narrow down the chosen ones! All chosen images are professionally retouched (this is part of the artistry!).
Salene will also help you design wall art for your walls. If you order at the reveal appointment, then the products are 10% off for same day sales. You have the option of texting Salene a photo of your wall at home prior to the reveal. Salene will mock up a design for the wall, depending upon measurements.
Any images that will become wall art, will receive a fine art Photoshop retouch. We spend more time retouching the images since it will be enlarged.
05.
Installation and Delivery Day
I order my images from a professional lab. They work very quickly and overnight them once they are complete. Miller's Imaging.
The products come from Italy!! Graphi Studio. A vendor backed by The Portrait Masters program. I love their ECO-leather.
I hand-deliver products because it's my next to favorite thing to do. I can make arrangements to get help with the installation.
Wall art is just one of my favorite things to create. A lot of labor and planning go into creating the images. I love to see when the images are on a wall for all time!!! It’s my greatest gift!!
